Clean up after work

After use, remove hair and residue with a soft, dry cloth. For heavier soiling, you can use a mild cleaning solution. Then dry the scissors thoroughly.

Oil the hinge

Apply a drop of JAGUAR maintenance oil to the screw as soon as the hinge feels dry or if the scissors have been used intensively for an extended period of time. Then open and close the scissors several times to distribute the oil.

Check the voltage

JAGUAR scissors are adjusted at the factory. Therefore, immediate readjustment is not necessary. If the scissors feel heavy or move jerkily, the tension may be too high. If they close very easily and push the hair forward, they may be set too loosely.

Adjust the setting only in small increments and check how the clippers feel after each adjustment. The operation varies depending on whether you’re using the VARIO, SMART CLICK, or SMART SPIN screw system.
